Welcome to my blog about networking and how to gain the best from networking by first discovering the new in you and your capabilities in the professional world. You can't be the best at something when you don't have the correct information. Take it from me 10 years in this revolving business world of networking, referrals, social events, and social media marketing. You don't know it yet but you will be surprised about my real world examples of do's and don'ts and tips I've learned on the way.

Perhaps the most common piece of advice I can give to any young professionals, "Don’t just Work it….Network It!" You have to be confident yet professional to any potential client or employer you meet. While many of us are terrified at the thought of striking inspiring conversations with a room full of unidentified professionals, even those of us who are natural social butterflies can find making personal connections in any space un-nerving and perplexing. What some don't understand is that networking is a skill perhaps many professionals need; even more those who have been in the business too long and have forgot professional mannerisms. Networking is about confidence, knowing who you are and what you represent; it is handshaking, smiling and friendly conversation. Get to know them and they will be your best networking partner.
